    I had completed wasteland survival guide but on the part where I needed to talk to Pinkerton I didn't as it was just an option. When I found out about the A3-21 rifle I went to Pinkerton and all he did was mention the history
    of rivet city. Nothing ever came up about the android. I went back to the
    main ship and talked to everyone, including Harkness. Finally gave up and
    told Zimmer he was dead. Got 50 caps and completed the quest. Was it by not going to Pinkerton during the WSG quest that screwed it up?
