• Wundows Live Error

I have reinstalled Fallout 3 several times now but keep getting a Cannot
Find 2810, or similar, in a Windows live file. I'm using XP Pro SP3 and
the GOTY edition. The program was working fine until I upgraded the
M/board and had to reinstall XP which I did on a clean partition. All
    necessary drivers are installed.

The number of the error is probably incorrect as I haven't seen it for
several days, If you need the exact number I will reinstall. It is
frustrating not being able to play the game.

I disabled windows live functionality for my Fallout3 installation. I also keep a sequential install text file of all my games - this is what I wrote:

+ Downloaded & Applied 'Games for windows LIVE Disable-1086' exe from
    Fallout3 Nexus.

Disabling windows live made my game more stable and run so much more
faster - especially since my computer was marginal to run FO3 at best.
