  • Karma confusion! LOL

    Ran into a supremely funny moment the other day playing FO3- despite
    my best efforts to keep karma neutral (hate being ambushed all the
    time when zoning into places), one of my characters kept turning
    'good' on me.

    I'd been finishing all the main game quests and (unintentionally)
    getting good karma from them, and stealing items here and there wasn't
    cutting it to keep me in neutral territory. So i went and did a side
    quest in evil-mode... wiped out Roy Phillips and his band of ghouls,
    for Mr. Tenpenny.

    So imagine my amusement, when I'm back in my cozy Megaton home dinking
    around while listening to GNR on my jukebox, and 3-Dog comes on, and
    first he does an editorial about how the Wasteland shouldn't lose
    hope, because 'our very own vault-101 girl, our last, greatest,
    bestest hope of mankind, is here'...jesus and buddha were starting to
    get jealous of me.

    And then, immediately thereafter, he does a news story about the
    murderous butcher of Roy Phillips and his poor, downtrodden ghouls,
    and rips me up one side and down the other for being a cruel,
    heartless asshole murderer.

    Ok.... so, which is it? LOL! Too funny. yin-yang overload.

    Meh...I nuked megaton and gave up on earning karma. It was worth it :-)
