  • FO3 My character is born, sex chosen, the guy just stands there.

    I just loaded FO3 and started a new game. My character is born, sex
    chosen, and the guy just stands there, I once waited five minutes and
    the only thing that happened is the guy bounced up and down a little
    right at the beginning. The lights on the machine in the background
    flash and the heart monitor beeps and beeps and beeps, but nothing
    appears, nothing moves, and the only key that makes something happen
    is the Esc and unless I'm ready to give up and quit it is useless. Has
    anyone had this problem or am I supposed to wait for my character to
    grow up in real time?

    Wow, that is indeed a strange occurrence! Has not happened to me before, but
    I am about to restart F3 on Windows 7 64 bit, so I may yet suffer from this one....
